Sam was born in Greece in 1961. He represented his high school in basketball, rugby and debating. He studied law at the University of Sydney and graduated with distinction in 1984.

Sam was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in July of 1984.

He acts for clients in areas such as:

• conveyancing; and

• wills and probate.
